Gabriel
Hi, I am Gabriel, a beautiful black domestic shorthair. My estimated date of birth is June 7, 2012.
I was rescued just around the corner from the church next to Beechwood Cemetery, on a frigid winter night. I was very lucky that the priest at the church noticed me and called for help, and that a CRN volunteer was able to find and catch me. I was just little and it was around midnight during an awful cold spell in January 2013. You can imagine how hard it would be to spot a little black kitten at night on such a big property, and if the volunteer had not found me, my survival would have been very unlikely. It was my own little miracle.
I lost an eye in an altercation with another cat but I am now healthy, vaccinated and neutered and ready to go to a forever home. After such a tough start, I am still a little timid and don't like loud noises. I like to play with wand toys and pom-poms, am very affectionate with people, and would love to cuddle and curl up to sleep with you.
