Why adopt from us?
Each animal we rescue needs a ‘forever home’. Every cat or kitten that finds a forever home creates an opening in foster care. The Cat Rescue Network is then able to take in another cat or kitten in need. The cats and kittens that we list as available for adoption are healthy, friendly and ready to become a loving member of your family. A reason to adopt from us is that all foster cats live in the safe and clean homes of foster familes and, therefore, are not housed in a shelter where they could contract illnesses. Another benefit is that, if you are interested in meeting a cat or kitten, you will be visiting them the foster family's home, thus allowing you to see the cat in his or her familiar and safe environment. This will give you a good sense as to his/her personality free from stress. During that visit, you will have the opportunity to talk to the foster parent and learn everything about the cat or kitten. We often think of our adoptions as a match-maker service because we go to great lengths to make sure that the cat up for adoption will suit the people and/or animals in his or her potential forever home.
Price of adoption:
$195 for domestic cat
$225 for a domestic kitten
Pure-bred cats/kittens are an additional cost
* the cat or kitten's health check, parasite treatment, first vaccination, treatment of any illnesses or injuries, and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee
We have compared our adoption costs against the cost you would incur after adopting a "free" cat or kitten. It will cost at least $800 in veterinary care to receive all of the items that are included in our adoption fee.
